A MOUNT EVEREST EXPERIENCE
ST LEON ARMENIAN CHURCH MENS FELLOWSHIP WELCOMES
COURTNEY REARDON KECHIJIAN
TO PRESENT A MOUNT EVEREST EXPERIENCE
Courtney is an engaging and accomplished young woman, with a business career on Wall Street. Her husband, Doug Kechijian is her coach and former Air Force Pararescue jumper. In May 2018, Courtney became the 68th American woman to summit Mt. Everest and survive; globally she is the 475th woman to accomplish that feat. Courtney will give the audience a rare and remarkable up-close view into the physical and mental preparation, process, and purpose that led to and enabled this accomplishment.
Get all your questions answered on this evening: How does one overcome fear and self-doubt? What is the most challenging part? Can you sleep in a tent at an elevation of 27,000 feet on the day before the summit push? Is it more difficult to descend the mountain? Describe the summit peak area.
